BIZI GARA

"Bizi Gara" is a greeting in the Basque language and is one of Baptiste Ibar's musical monikers. Baptiste is a prolific painter and musician who is constantly testing, changing and evolving in style and energy. He released his first LP "Bizi Gara" with Banana Apple records in 2007. Since then Baptiste has been collaborating with a group of talented friends in Brooklyn, including members of (Here We Go Magic) Luke Temple, Peter Hale and Kristina Lieberson. (The Merkin Dream)'s Kai Wei Hsu. LusterKings Records producer and Artist/musician Andrew "Moon" Bain, The ferocious pianist and composer Dave Cieri, down home singer-songwriter Putnam Murdock, Guitar Wizard Brad Barr and is currently in another Band with his sister Maia (Rita and the Labyrinth). The Live show is always a different and exciting mix of musicians. He is in the process of releasing a series of EP's from some of his more recent experiments and songs.
