Like this could possibly cover it! Hmmm.....half Norwegian, half whatever; grew up in Albuquerque, went to U New Mexico for four years but graduated from ASU (after stints at Virginia Commonwealth U and Disney U, if you're a Disney College Program Alum, hit me up!!), and I've lived in Los Angeles since 1999. I'm gay, and since 2002 I've been blessed with the most wonderful man on the planet as a partner/partner in crime. Naturally, he's #1 on my Friends page below. I have one brother, who is in seminary school in Wisconsin (two completely divergent paths). I'm into music (shoegaze/indie rock/electronica/IDM), Asian food/culture (I love watching Japanese tv, even though I don't speak ANY Japanese), travellling (43 states and 5 foreign countries). My Interests

My fraternity Delta Lambda Phi (www.dlp.org). Gay Rights. Music. Foreign languages (Parlez vous francais? Moi, je ne parle bien, mais je voudrais avoir plus d'occasions de pratiquer). Travelling ( LOVE ROADTRIPS!!!). Architecture (Traditional Neighborhood Design). Computers. Learning about stuff. Cars (esp VW's). Politics. Did I mention I'm a hard core democrat?

Music:

WOW! Until recently, I thought the music scene had gone into the toilet. All the good music from the 80's and early 90's had disappeared into a morass of forgettable and absolutely appalling teeny bop sludge. But recently there's been an avalance of great music.

Tom Vek, Bloc Party, Colder, M.I.A., M83, Snow Patrol, the Bravery, the Departure, Maximo Park, and She Wants Revenge have all made me rediscover my love of music. And it's about time.

I also like:

Shoegaze (My Bloody Valentine, Flying Saucer Attack, Medicine, Voyager One),

indie rock (The Lapse, The Van Pelt, Blonde Redhead, Modest Mouse, Autour De Lucie),

Electronica & IDM (Electric Company, kid606, Peaches, Chicks On Speed, Ladytron, Paul Van Dyk, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold),

and old school 80's new wave like The Cure, Depeche Mode and Siouxsie and the Banshees.

Movies:

Indies and gay films. Indocine. Beautiful Thing. The Amateur. Yossi And Jagger. And I love the movie Clue. But it's really hard for me to sit still for two hours and keep my mouth shut. I'm really good at predicting what's going to happen, so I tend to sit there and sigh and say "Ok, so she's gonna walk down the hall, and then he's gonna jump out at her, but then she's gonna be ok because...." at which point whomever I'm with turns and says "Ok, got it, could you not ruin it for me?" And then I'll spend an hour or so afterwards ripping the movie to shreds, pointing out how completely implausible it was, or how some things didn't make sense...really, I'd rather just go hiking instead.

Television:

Hmmm....not much. Weather Channel, HGTV, mostly foreign stuff, like BBC (Absolutely Fabulous) and I love Asian television, which is really odd, since I don't understand a word of it...but it's so fascinating!

Books:

Anne Rice. Edward Gorey. Dracula. Canterbury Tales. I fantasize about burning John Steinbeck books, possibly the worst writer in the history of mankind.... Do cookbooks count?
