My name is Tom.I just recently graduated from Spring Arbor University and looking forward to starting the Police Academy in the Spring hopefully all will work out and I'll be a police officer shortly!!! Give me a gun and badge bieotch!!! haha jk. On a serious note I feel like I'm turning over a new leaf in my life and have decided that there is more to life then just the basic fun and its time to settle down and look for something serious and solid in my life, something more something real. I will not turn away from going out with friends and having a good time but I will for sure make sure I am doing it within reason. I have passions in my life I never thought existed. I love to learn about police work and everything that goes into. I cannot wait to start the police academy and I want to become the best cop I can be. I have a passion for being a better person and better son, friend, boyfriend when that comes asbout and a better listener and a better Christian. This does not mean I am a stiff or some kind of judgemental person but I feel I have to make changes in my life however I will not do what some people in my past have done before and totally disowned their friends. I love my friends too much to do that. I want to be more passionate about my friends and family because when it comes down to it and everything is taken away from me and life has beat me down to the point of not wanting to get up I will always have them in my corner for me. I want to be the type of person who anyone can talk to and will talk to anyone and I feel I am almost there in that department already. I love to meet new people though it is hard witht he same sex because lets me honest us guys we are very territorial and its hard to make new guy friends because we are soo muy macho lol. I feel life is too short to dewell in the past though the past can remind us of mistakes we have made and Lord knows I have made my many mistakes but I am willing to finally sit down and learn from them. I am ready to move on with my life and ready to start something serious something REAL. What else can I say to make this profile even longer? haha Basically I love God, family and friends and I want to be the best for these people that mean so much to mean in my life. What else? Oh I can't wait to start working hopefully soon at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan in Southfield. That would be great because I have student loans and car payments to make lol who doesn't? I just recently have been on a trip to Chicago to study the different cultures which make up the great city of Chicago. Let me tell you it was a real eye opener because not only did I see the diversity but I also saw many of the struggles and problems and poverty which make up the city. I realize this is in every city and its heartbreaking to see many people of my own race (Hispanic) and the other races to deal with genderfication and to deal with homelessness as well as dealing with the struggles of racism which do not always happen in the races we normally think they happen in. If anything I have become more passionate about listening to what is going on in the world around me and willing to start making changes in my own community so things like this will not affect my children when they are growing up. I feel like I should have some understanding of what is going on in the cities and communities surrounding me because if I am blind to these problems who says I won't be blinded to the problems which may help or hurt my children in the future, family or even my close friends. WOW ok that was alot but that is me I am willing to think outside the box and see things around me which can help or hurt me or anyone else. I am not the type of person to set out and think I can change the world right away and I might not even be able to help that much but I am willing to listen. One of the greatest things God gave us was our ability to choose, listen and have genuine concern for those less fortunate. Ok well here is some more about me if you want and like hit me up and add me if not its cool no biggie! I like sports, especially BASEBALL which I play, BASKETBALL...wish I kept playing but I'm short, FOOTBALL...cuz no matter what, if you were pissed you could legally get away with hitting someone. I love slow R&B music whenever. Music which is good to listen to...doesn't matter what kind. I like weird movies which peak your interest. I actually just started to like to read again so if its a good mystery book or sports bio give it to me to read. I like girls...I'm not gay duh! haha. What I like about the opposite sex? That they keep you on your toes, they are smarter then I am, they know what's best for me lol! I like eyes...they have to strike me first...if not its just not the same. I like lips, legs, tummy's, and the way a girl can wear their hair. I like interesting people who have cool things to talk about besides how crappy their lives are and how lucky we should be to have them. I love God and my family and friends. I like the way it smells when winter turns to spring and when its time to play baseball. I love the butterflies I get before the first pitch. I love hearing the ball hit the catchers glove on strike three. I love to hear the basketball hit nothing but net. I love seeing a one handed catch for a TOUCHDOWN. I love to run.
