About Me

IT professional working for global outsourcer, looking to make the move into the music industry over the next few years as a producer, audio engineer and general gear solutions guy. Running a Sonar 6.0/Tascam FW1804-based computer recording rig (with a reasonable amount of offboard gear, including a Motif ES Rack synth and an Alto CLE 8.0 dynamics box) and an Alto L16 live desk. Play keyboards, bass, electric guitar, clarinet, trombone & sax (in roughly that order) and would like to get a decent electronic drum kit to start working on chops with that. Happy to discuss hiring rig with bands & institutions to facilitate recording of live material in addition to contract audio engineering work. Also keen to produce/record new bands in the Adelaide area.Bands & Projects: Dirty Strangers 6-piece Adelaide Roots Rock outfit - focus is on original tunes that evoke the shade of some of the truly great periods in rock music performance and production. Occasionally gigging at venues such as the Wheatsheaf International Hotel in West Thebarton and the Prince Albert Hotel in the centre-south of the Adelaide City CBD precinct.Escape Velocity Recordings of my own musical ideas or recordings to which I've contributed significant production chops - either recorded on my own or with others.
