I was born in the late 40's in Detroit, Michigan, where I lived until I went off to college in 1966. I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and an M.B.A. from Eastern Michigan University and became a CPA. After three years in public accounting and two more in the corporate world, I turned to academia. For the next sixteen years, I taught college accounting, business and computer courses. I served as Department Head for the Business & Information Systems Department for five years before being appointed Provost in 1997. After four years in that capacity, I left academia for my first love - the music industry. Since 1995, I have been the CEO of Entertainment Superstars, which provides entertainment for the southeastern Michigan area. In 2003, I founded Motown Legends, a company providing live entertainment utilizing the services of legendary artists such as THE CONTOURS with Joe Billingslea and The Original Vandellas.
