I was born on a small farm in Southern Georgia - the youngest of five children. My four older brothers all went off to war, and I worked as an elevator operator in the local Woolworths to help Momsie and Popsie make ends meet. It was there, in the elevator, that Miss Kate Fox discovered me ... now I love to dance and sing for the boys. Especially the GIs. Hey there, boys!
