First I am a follower of Christ, I've lived to long for myself and officially die to myself. I’ve made mistakes and to everyone I have, I am truly sorry. God has done a work in my life lately even more than ever. James Michael Kempner II grew up in the music industry under his father Jim Kempner, who is a legend in Christian music industry for starting and running Frontline Records which was a Power House in the Christian Music industry in the Mid 80's to late 90's with 7 other labels starting and running as well, a distribution company and 2 publishing companies. James grew up rocking out to the bands on Frontline, finding a passion for music since he could rock out with his plastic guitar at age 3. Since 2004 at age 19 James became Director of A&R of a label in Hollywood under a world known producer and mixer who were the presidents of the company. Summer of 2004, James decided to leave the label and long drive to Hollywood from Orange County to there, to take on being the Agent of recording artist Joel Bowers who has sung on 2 Christina Aguilera cds, as well for Ruben Studdard and Kelly Clarkson and even on 2 Block Buster Hit Movies Anastasia and Dream Girls. Summer of 2005, he decided to expand his love for music and use the ears God gave him to run a Rock Night at a club in Newport Beach, where he booked bands that were signed to majors and that later went on to blow up. Beginning of 2006, James was eager to switch it up and start and book his own concert series, so he did booking house hold names like Dogwood, Takota and others. Start of 2007, James Michael Kempner II, found himself over the years giving advice to some great artists and bands, and was told to start consulting at an hourly rate, since his advice was taking artists and bands to new heights. As well as doing production deals with Skyy Grant, who has worked with Prince and the Jacksons to name a few.. 2009 is here, and James' music career is taking long strides at where he started. He is currently working with various bands and big producers shopping their stuff to Networks like MTV, and Warner to name a few.. check James' blogs for the artists and producers he has worked with in the past and present.
