About Me

Well, let’s see……I’ve been described as a “dichotomy” several times throughout my life. LOL! I am overflowing with happiness and bubbliness, yet I have a metaphorically dark side as well. I am a “mixed breed”, and very proud that I have people in my life that understand both sides. A bit edgey…. I love hanging out with myself (me time), but will take the good company of a friend, or band rehearsal anytime. Performing is my life. If I could make it an 8 hour day, I would NEVER take it for granted. I am a songwriter. I absolutely adore the concept of putting my feelings into musical works of art. My favorite color is gray, followed closely by a rich purple. I am a softie for any animal, and truly believe I could tame a wild bear (now that’s confidence, or stupidity…not sure). I love a good dose of reality, but will be the first one to tell you the wild and passionate events that make up my dreams. Self-help books are not very helpful to me, yet I can get buried in them! To me, the thought of peace is possible. I believe life is a series of “experiences”, usually from the dark to the light. When I’m finished with this phase of my life, I think I’m going to move to South America or Mexico….The cold isn’t my thing. ;)

Band Members: I have been blessed with so many haunting musical situations, and too many life changing musicians to even mention here. However, one in particular is my rock, my beautiful shining light throughout my life's darkness: Johnny Garcia. My soul is fed through his passion, his talent, his love for life. Te Amo. A warm hearted "thank you" for those who dedicated their time and talent to the success of my "soon to be released album".Lead Vocals: Taylin Rae, Lead Guitar: Johnny Garcia, Acoustic Guitar: Johnny Garcia, Michael Spriggs, Drums: Shawn Ficther, Bass: David Hungate, Steve Mackey, David Santos, Keys: John Jarvis, Gene LeSage, Steel: Sonny Garrish, Violin: Larry Franklin, BGV: Taylin Rae, Johnny Garcia, Shawn Ficther, Produced by: Johnny Garcia & Taylin Rae, Engineered by: Johnny Garcia & JD Shuff
Influences: In my world, there really is not a particular "influence" in my music. I completely respect and understand all the elements that make up a song and the expressive ways to create it. Songs and styles of music are masterpieces that are "sent down" through an individual to reach a person, then another..........and on and on. Everyone who plays, sings, performs, and writes, has something important to say. It's up to us to go to the musician's level and be touched and maybe even changed by that music.
Sounds Like: I will let the creative intelligence of my listeners determine what my music sounds like to them. If I were to truly label a piece of my music, it would not be fair to those needing to experience the freedom that comes with expressing who and what they are.I'm not sure? Title cut?
