About Me

http://www.GraffitiGen.com/ - Graffiti - Graffiti Creator - MySpace LayoutsHe covers the entire spectrum of Hip Hop - Evolving from DJ, to Producer, to Emcee. He can be described as a cross between your big brother and your worst enemy with a perfect combination of the old & new school. Being nicknamed by his peers, “tha 5-Star Lyrical Therapist”, Sin Doogie is just that: a therapist – capable of listening to the cries of the streets and within himself, while relating them both to everyday life.Known for his harsh off-beat rhythms and unusual verbal imagery, Doogie has traveled this journey for over 12 years witnessing the world of hip hop go through rapid and trendy changes – He is not concerned with being “hot” or any other played out term, but more concerned about how hip hop music is being corrupted and saturated by social nonsense and ultimately, wack emcees!! He is through being a passenger and feels he is ready to arrive bringing mic skills back to this art.In his beginnings as a DJ, Doogie learned the importance of grasping and holding on to the attention of the listener with music. He began exploring the art of emceeing at the tender age of 15 after finally making the decision to work alone as his views and interpretations were not widely accepted by his fellow group members. Doogie is a firm believer that lyrics are important and he certainly proves this through his metaphoric, passionate vocal delivery. Knowing the current state of hip hop has become more of a business than what it used to be, he still manages to entertaint.Sin Doogie’s music promotes love, tragedy, and seriousness while keeping it all realistic. This can be heard on his 2004 EP release, “In Laymen’z Termz” -- From one of his socially conscience tracks like, “So Simple”, to his emcee diss-club driven track “Neva tha Same”, he makes sure to deploy a message in each rhyme. Producing all of his own tracks, Doogie’s music is what can be described as “mature” hip hop. Instead of just simply taking samples and looping them over beats, Doogie’s music is more orchestrated using live instruments, drums, handclaps, and “humming trunk” bass tones that promise head nods from all hip hop listeners.Humble, yet intimidating at times, Sin Doogie will make you laugh, reminisce, cry, and have constant jaw-dropping outbursts of “Oh Shit’s!!” !!! And with his incredible mixture of solid lyrics and hypnotic beats, you will find yourself keeping a finger on “rewind” AND “repeat”. He is currently working on a project with his long time emcee companion "Anonymous". Scheduled to release Fall of 2007.Prepare to embrace the future of soulful hip hop – Underground or Mainstream, the antidote to the bullshit, this is SIN DOOGIE.
