I love to play baseball and tennis. And any other sport imaginable. Even those that are not imaginable too. I just love to run around and have fun. Wakeboarding is great! Fishing is relaxing and it strangely gives you an adrenaline rush. Tether Ball was never something I was good at. I almost decapitated myself like 78 times from playing that. I rock at handball! Nobody can stop my rainbow serve. What else? Oh! I love to play mafia. It is this game you play with cards with a group of people. Its great! Its hard to explain but basically there is a couple mafia members and the rest of the people are townspeople. And the townspeople are trying to find out who the mafia members are. But the mafia is killing off people during the game. But they dont actually go out and kill them. Just thought that I would clear that up. Oh my its fun. Well I cant think of anything else so I guess I will let you figure out the rest by getting to know me.
I'd like to meet:
Anyone who can talk......actually now that I think about it. Even those who can't talk too. Also I can't wait til I see God face to face and look at His glory!
Music:
I love any type of music as long as it has clean lyrics. One of my favorite types is Ancient African Tribal Ceremonial Chanting. Sweet.
Movies:
I dont want to bore you with a long list of movies that I have watched so I will just tell you my two favorites: The Village and Gladiator. The story lines and acting in both are amazing! I can watch them both over and over.
Television:
TV is something I dont watch that much anymore. But I like to just relax, kick back and rest while watching TV sometimes. Seinfeld in my opinion was the greatest show ever on the face of the earth. Nothing can every top it. Though Everybody Loves Raymond did come very close. I actually enjoy watching American Idol. Survivor gets good once in awhile and The Amazing Race is always a good one. I really like watching The Antiques Roadshow. I love to try and guess how much they appraise the stuff for. And I always hope that I will go into our closet and have there be a little whole and when I break down the wall a little bit there is a hidden room with like an ancient relic that I could go on the show with and get appraised for $100,000.
Books:
Abve all else stands the Bible. I ove to read it. It is in a category all of its own. It is living and active with the Holy Spirit. It is the basis of my faith and a firm foundation to stand on. It is truely beautiful! Other Christian books I love are books by Swindoll, Piper, Schaeffer, Spurgeon, and so many others. I greatly admire Tolkien for writing the Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit. Those are masterpieces. Another book is Rocket Boys by Homer H. Hickam Jr. It is the book that October Skies was made after. I actually cried while reading it. It is an awesome story. And its all true! I am currently going through Systematic Theology by Wayne Grudem.
Heroes:
Jesus Christ. No words could ever say how much I love Him. For He loves me beyond all comprehension. Even when I showed myself to be an umlovable mess in dirty rags, He embraced me as a son. Even as I write this tears are welling up in my eyes. Gratitude does not begin to describe how I feel. He is all I need. And yet He chooses to bless me with so much more. Relationships, friends, family, a future wife. They all take root in Him. So I hold loosely to what He has lavished on me cause it is not the things that I love but rather the giver of the things that I love. For the things will all fail me and fade away. But He stands forever unchanging. Amen!
