I was the husband of a wonderful and beautiful woman, but it seems that divorce can make some ppl really nasty Senegona(Amanda),and we are now officially divorced, and through various circumstances, I was given full custody of all of our 3 children. Yea! and they are so much happier. (and it is time to move on now. Oh! And never live with in-laws cause that's what hurt us). As well, I am the proud parent of 4 beautiful little girls, and 2 grown boys, John Mark(26 yrs old), Stephen(16 yrs old), Jadis( 4 yrs and 3 months from an ex-girlfriend, Diane), Phoenix(3 yrs and 10 months from Senegona and myself), and Autumn(2 years and 7 months, from Senegona and myself). And my ex-wife had our 3rd child(my 6th) Shane(Cheyenne)Renee Chase-Turpin on Oct.26th, 2007. And, I am in the process of getting Shane's name changed legally to Cheyenne Renee Turpin.
I am not getting married to the one now unnamed girl who didn't know how to handle kids, who had misrepresented whom she was, who didn't know how to communicate, turned out to be just not for me, etc. I had to kick her out here recently. I only gave her a chance because months ago said that I would when I thought she was someone other than whom she turned out to be. Oh well. You live, you learn. I just want someone to be there for the kids and myself, and show us eternal love, loyalty, etc. Is that too much to ask? May the Lady and Lord bless the one whom will be my future soul-mate, whomever that turns out to be(though I have one or two in mind, lol) ,with eternal love, abundance, etc.
I'm a United States Army veteran. I'm also a Desert Storm Era veteran. I'm also a musician/entertainer, painter and writer, and Substitute Teacher. I've also had a business co-owned with a former partner before. I'm a college graduate and am currently working on my second degree in college. Though, that is on hold, for now anyway.
As far as religion, I'm a 3rd Degree Wiccan. I started with a group in N.W. Arkansas, went to a group in N.E. Arkansas, and finished my degrees through the group in N.W. Arkansas. It's a long story. LOL! I also practice Shamanism, study and practice Druidism, and some
Ceremonial Magick as well.
As far as the music, I've been in several bands over the years. I've been playing guitar since age 8, though more seriously from 14. The first band I was in 1978-79, we called Alien. It was a name I thought up due to my fascination with UFO's. Some other bands that I've been in were Tyrant, Wizard, Lucifer's Revenge, Sweet Evil, Servant(a Christian rock band for that brief period), T.Y.M.E.(Transcendental Yoga Meditational Experiences). That last one was with an old H.S. buddy that was in my Lucifer's Revenge band as well. Lucifer's Revenge was in H.S., and T.Y.M.E. was years later in N.W. Arkansas. That friend was a big influence on my life. He has since crossed over to the other side. At least we stayed close for all of those years, which was for 25 years. Then there was Alattaz, The Mother Earth Band, Gypsy Soul, and my latest incarnation is EarthShine. I got this last name from a scientific term for the effects of the sun's rays bouncing off of the earth and the glow it causes. I thought that it sounded really cool! I also plan on putting some of my recorded music on here soon. A few other big influences on my playing besides rock stars, have been my friends John King, Ronnie Fielding, Dewey Hiler, and Darren from Memphis that I met in Denver with his wife Shawna at Jefferson apts just off Hampden ave. By the way, John has his own band site now, and I believe Dewey does as well on MySpace.
Also, I have a group on yahoo groups called Circle of the Hidden Oaks. This group is an extension of the Southern Ozarks Church of Wicca.
