Politics, reading, film, human interaction, mythology, writing, social vices, antisocial vices, hanging around friends, and sex. I'll let the reader decide what precisely takes priority over what.

Well, Hunter S. Thompson, but since I don't see that happening for a while... well, the christian (Yes, I intentionally spelled it without the capital C, nobody will ever falsely accuse me of a typo!) version of Satan really seems like a fun guy, or Loki, the Norse god of mischief. I don't know, someone with something interesting to say, I'd even settle for humorous and insightful at this point. Preferably humorous, as I have gained enough insight from people, and generally, it's unwanted and unwelcome.

Hmm... anything really, with the exceptions of easy listening, inspirational, christian, gospel, bad 80s music, and country. So rock, basically, although sometimes I might go off on a whim and listen to classical. Wait, that's a lie, I like the blues, and a little gospel, but only good gospel, soulful gospel. Not the preachy shit. And techno, but underground, not the Top 40 shit, although I burn out on techno because it's hard to tell whether it's skipping or not. Gretchen Wilson should be shot for "Redneck Woman"... I heard that fucking song 40 times a night when I worked at the Waffle House. Pot helps.
Anything by Tarantino, Burton, Hitchcock/God, the terms are interchangable. Kevin Smith can kiss my ass. Anything with Charlie Chaplin or Buster Keaton. Give me Bela Lugosi over Lon Chaney Jr. any day. Cheech and Chong, Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle (again, pot helps). Just anything. I like cheesy B movies too. My favorite movie of all time, that I could watch eternally without boredom, would be Jaws. I think I may actually enjoy historic period films too, although they're a little girly... well, except the Libertine, and Braveheart. Everyone loves Braveheart. And the Puppetmaster Series. And Todd Browning's Freaks, which has become dear to my heart after doing the carnie scene for a while... "One of us, one of us, one of us..."
I have no cable. I miss you History Channel! On the other hand, I could actually sit through a full episode of the O.C. at this point, just to make up for all the time I've spent playing with my damn cats. Actually, that's a lie. I want HBO... I love Curb Your Enthusiasm. Mythbusters would ease the pain a little, and I honestly can't function without Adult Swim. Lack of Futurama has driven me to drinking and drug use.
Right now, I'm working on reading anything I can find about Anne Boelyn, and next, Elizabeth I. I've also been playing voyeur by reading the letters of Hunter S. Thompson and Co., as well as Kurt Cobain's journals, which are not as interesting as a person would think. After that, there's no telling. Geek Love by Katherine Dunn kicks ass. Jonathan Kellerman is a good beach read. I've grown a little fond of some of the things Nietzche writes, and I've been on a reincarnation kick lately too, but Edgar Cayce was a really strange individual. Anne Rice will be bitten in the ass by karma for the shit she pumps into print.
Can't say I've got any. I'm a misanthropist and a cynic. I enjoy Hunter S. Thompson though, and appreciate his life greatly. I wouldn't mind living a life like his. I also admire anyone who refuses to abandon their beliefs even in times of hardship. I will bow down and kiss the feet of the beautiful person who assasinates George W. Bush. Ghandi is great, but I can't be a pushover. If Rambo and Ghandi had an illegitimate love child who was adopted by Nelson Mandela and Marie Curie... now we're talking.
