Why am I here? ...on my space I mean. I've only just joined because I needed to create an account to watch a video online - how very inconvenient!However the weird thing is that this whole website is something I'd love to become part of. It's just that because it's popular, I didn't want to become involved. My music likes/dislikes are based on the same theory. Take Muse for instance - I'd like to like them but because they've got radio airplay and people like them, I don't want to like them. I'd rather share my love with less popular bands.I've always been a guy for the underdog, the under-rated. My music tastes consist of bands that just barely register on the "mass audience" radar (bands like XTC, The Divine Comedy, Talking Heads, Tears for Fears, Genesis). Apart from a love for Radiohead and Pink Floyd, I can't really think for a band that I'd pay to watch that have touched a lot of people. One thing is for sure though, I love the music that these people create - works of genius that shouldn't be ignored.Sport is another passion where I seem to support the "lesser known" clubs. I support Kettering Town FC. To the untrained football fan you'll think I'm mad! To me it's the only other outlet I have to show emotion and feel passionate. I feel for all girlfriends I've had, who have struggled to understand the obsession. Only one dared to actually come to a game. It was a mistake on both parts! Still, I'm up for giving it ago if you are...if you happen to be going out with me... I'm also a Northants CCC fan. Again how pathetic is that? Never won the league championship and our last silverware was in 1992!I come from Northamptonshire, again another down the middle of the road county. Nothing seriously special about it (apart from myself of course), but at the same time there are a lot worse place to come from. I love it here. I'm proud to be where I'm from, and I will often defend my home county - yes it is possible to get patriotic about your home county, sad as it is!So by now you're getting the jist of my cynical yet affectionate ways.
