EPIDEMIC...OVER - new EP on Itunes now!!

About Me

Allow Queensland alternative rock act Epidemic…Over to make you a promise.
A promise that you will feel something deep inside you - something raw, something powerful, when you listen to their music.
Epidemic…Over’s sound has been described as a “…passionate, dynamic, energetic sound that you can feel in your bones.” – Fran Moore, Hoist Rocky Online, promoter
Their new 6 track EP, Promise, a follow-up to 2007’s near out-of-print Self-Titled release, is testament to their hard work and dedication.
Promise acts as a call to action for it’s listeners – with tracks such as Reap what you sow, Spin, Everybody’s Closer, Change and Watch for my soul, it beckons and invites the listener to actively participate. The recording process also brought a new element to the band’s sound – a moving, haunting, organ and acoustic guitar-driven piece entitled 21 minutes.
Recorded in South East Queensland at Mud Hut Studios with James Balderston (A Secret Death, The Amity Affliction) the forthcoming release is available from May 15th on iTunes, eMusic and AmazonMP3 through Musicadium and physically from May 29th at shows and through purchase on their website, http://www.epidemicover.com.au .
In a short 2 year period, Epidemic…Over have toured in support of expanding their fan base and played support to some of Australia’s biggest names in alternative music (The Butterfly Effect, Gyroscope, Mammal, Dead Letter Circus, Shihad, British India, Melodyssey and Sydonia) – and made a few friends along the way.
Commanding large crowds in their home town of Boyne Island and Gladstone, as well as surrounding areas Rockhampton, Bundaberg and Mackay, the Epidemic…Over lads are now spreading their music into Queensland’s south-east corner and making an impact.
Epidemic…Over are Nathan Bedford’s “powerful vocals”, Ben Castles’ “driving guitar lines”, Scott Rogers’ “punchy bass rhythms” and Matthew Green’s “explosive drums.”
Follow them on twitter ( http://www.twitter.com/epidemicover ), befriend them on MySpace or become a fan on Facebook.
They promise to bring the epidemic to you.
