I originate from just outside Hull but to try and explain the village I am from is pointless so I just say I'm from Hull. However, now I live in Bradford because I go to University here but once in a while I'm back in Hull for a weekend because that's where my family are. I study Psychology but my real passion is art and photography. The reason I didn't take that up is because everyone does it and at the end of the studies it's not garaunteed you'll have a job. I guess I took the risk of doing Psychology although the outlook is pretty much the same. I love to write too, although it's usually a loada bollocks but I see it as a release like most things.
I'm a nice, down-to-earth guy, or so I think but apparently I am a little snobbish and I know I can be bitchy. Best way to avoid that is to please me. I don't know why I am like I am, but you have to deal with it if you wanna know me.
Imagine my world. I'm nearly a pure geek in some respects. I'm a sucker for Pokémon and Super Mario which I play on my Nintendo DS, but I wish I still had my Super Nintendo to play the old games on. I'm also a sucker for musicals; Hairspray, Priscilla, Chicago and Cabaret, love them! Also love sci-fi stuff such as X-Men and Resident Evil, books, movies and games. I don't quite know why I still love such things but I do. I think I don't want to let go of my childhood because let's face it, Power Rangers rule!
I have been up and down with emotions for quite a number of years but I haven't quite lost it yet. I don't claim to have ever been depressed, just down. I have experienced some pretty stupid things that have thrown me off my course through life. From pure hatred of others to pure love of that special someone, but nothing has quite lasted all that long. I've had my heart broken and fixed but thing happen for a reason and all it does it make people stronger.
Although I am gay, it doesn't make me any less of a man than anyone who is classed as straight. It does not make me more of a woman either. I have my moments of being camp but overall, I ain't a high-pitched squealling girl of a gay guy. I know what looks good and what doesn't. I know how to please, how to tease and I'm good at it. I don't like people hating on me for my sexuality so just don't bother because I can argue quite well. I'm strong minded and I don't give up easily when I want something, so keep that in mind before you deny me what I have come for.This is all we have, what we built here. We can't take anything with us when we die so spend whatever you have before you go. Live the risks and experience the highs. Brokeback Mountain is all we got.
Never think that because someone has a better or more education than yourself, that they know more than you. Going to an educational institution such as a school, college or university does not mean you know more than someone who has not had those pleasures. All those places do is give you some evidence that you know something about something. Real knowledge, real power comes from your life experiences, so don't go flaunting a certificate in my face, don't tell me I know less because I'm not as far through my education, because it's more than likely that I have had a little more life experience than you.
