I enjoy the fine arts, especially concerts and the theater. Everything is better in the company of good friends. I've had some wonderful experiences, including travel to other countries, meeting interesting people, and a sense of purpose.I'm devoted to God, and to my grown children, and have a like-hearted appreciation for those who are kind and loving to others. I respect those who have ambition to contribute to society in positive ways. My closest friends have the self confidence to trust another, and in their confidence, do not create feelings of possessiveness and jealousy.Some activities I enjoy far too seldom are walking, hiking, camping, exploring, reading, and playing the trombone. I presently listen to books on tape in the car, research my family's history, and spend time with my children and grandchildren. In November, 2005, I finally ran a marathon.Special people discover my sense of humor. Most notice my enthusiastic positive attitude. I'm tolerant of others' nature and opinions, but that doesn't extend to giving up my own values. I distinguish between tolerance and surrender.
