Space is my canvas for creative expression. At least that's the deal for now. Rhythm, fashion, street -- they all find their way in. I'm working on a warehouse conversion; gutting the space raw, adding an out-of-control living wall, growing 14 feet high, designing furniture from recycled resins and sustainable woods, and waitng for Michi's folk-a-coasteer genius to unfold.
I thrive on collaborative efforts: music, art, architecture, fashion, photography. How they fit together and inform emotion fascinates me. It feeds my soul, fills my world.
Over the years, I've shared my studio and creative energy with musicians, painters, fashion designers, dancers, photographers, filmmakers, and I've met some amazing people along the way. Right now, for me, it's all about the impact and the kickback of urban expression. It's about the process; raw, true, expression. Graffiti, tattoos, street art, geurilla installation -- they capture my imagination, enliven my designs. Anything new is of interest -- so bring it on!
I'm excited to be sharing space at home with the Atlanta Creatives Project. Neda's amazing, and I can't wait to see what/ who walks through the door! At the studio I'm getting back in gear, doing a million things at once. I'll be launching Kelly Buchanan's new cd, Clint keeps me safe, I'm loving my Sam Parker wall, I can't wait to see what kickass things future . is capable of, and I'm working on an experiential, multi-media installation piece that will, hopefully, blow you away. If I ever get it done.
