With mega shout outs to Earthwise Community Association for being our auspicers and life support system over the years heres a little synopsis. Brought to life by the Irrepressable Funky Dora Bella Dora Lama and our Grant Daddy Papa Funken P, blessed be them, Junkadelic has banged their bins extensively throughtout the bulk of Westa Straylia, funkatizing the children of Earth through the process of polyrythmic "junkussion" playspaces. Basing ourselves at City Farm Perth these days after a couple of years at the now defunkt Groovey Space, (which became a meeting place for many local activist and arts groups and all round wicked place to hang at) we keep flowing through schools, festivals and other arrangements in the country and city alike.
We've played at Perth Big Day Out, Balingup Medieval Carnival, Cue Festivals , Fairbidge Folk Festivals , Nannup Folk Festival , Capel Fest, Kimberley Moon in Kununurra, Wyndham Mud Footy, some mall in Hong Kong, Fremantle Street Arts Festival, Blues at Bridgetown and many more events, Anti Bad Stuff/Pro Good Stuff rallies, parties and the like (we've even got a wedding under our belt). We have done, and continue to do workshops with people of all persuasions, (even those who need persuading). Jigalong, Esperance, Mandurah, Carnarvon, Parngurr, Burringurrah, Northam, Kalannie, Armadale, Subiaco, Spearwood, Mt Lawley, Warnbro, Ellenbrook and the list goes on.
