C3p0 (white) and SkillyMcGillacuddy (Wheat) have been making hip hop music for over 7 years and doing shows for 5. Although they haven’t been on stage for that long they’ve quickly gained recognition for their stage presence and engaging performance. 1000 Apologiez has been recognized on Duluth’s MIX108, Rochester’s KROC106, many college radio stations and is currently on the mixtape Groovetonics (Groove Hotsauce Productions). They’ve done several radio interviews with UMD Alumni Zach Pizza on MIX108. This year they’ve done performances with artists such as MC Supernatural, Afroman, OneBeLo, Vanilla Ice, Heatbox, Kanser and The Blend. White Or Wheat will be performing at the Snowboard Video premier for “Hello My Name Is†(First Track Productions) in November as two of their songs are featured on the video. Recently the group has acquired the musical assistance of talented musicians Ben Berg and Matt Duea bringing a forceful in your face instrumental based performance. They like to be called the Toaster’s. That being said these artists are excited to welcome you to join in on the ninja like explosive musical experience known as White Or Wheat and the Toaster’s. BIOGRAPHY: The shit begins its head on collision course with the vigorously spinning blades of a honeywell in April of 2000, when White (Cody Prudeuhl A.K.A C3P0) meets Wheat (Manny "Tre" Rivas A.K.A SkillyMcGillacuddy). Young, immature, bored and stoned, C3 and Skilly stumble upon a creative outlet of writing parody's to "pop" songs. They quickly realize that finding instrumentals for "pop" songs on Napster was like trying to find talent on the No Limit record label, but the library of hip hop beats was virtually endless. Venturing into uncharted territory, Tre and Cody immediately find love for the art of hip hop and begin making sweet sweet consensual relations to it...in seperate rooms of course. Although a completely different style than parody, White Or Wheat persists with its humor. Through the years they develop a unique underground flava that attracts even those who don't normally find themselves gettin down in the whole hip hop scene. Along with makin funnys, W.O.W finds inspiration in their own lives and experiences. To put it plainly, White Or Wheat will make you laugh, cry, reevaluate your ambitions, want to punch your mom in the face, and question the stability of our government all within a 45 minute set
