About Me

My name is Sekunae. Korean/German/Flemish/British by blood. I'm an artist of many sorts, and pursuer of anything that is beautiful in my mind or just so happens to spark my interest; those are my real pleasures in life. I thrive on all that is visually appealing, and I even try making myself so just for kicks, however, I value true beauty, that is, the beauty of the soul, over the outer shell which pales in comparison. Though that is something very rare in this world, I am not afraid to go through extremes to see and feel it for myself. That's part of what matters to me as an artist: motive. The other would be passion, which I do not lack in the slightest.
In terms of character, I've been told I'm one of the most enigmatic individuals on the planet, and it may very well be true. I speak few words, weave intricate thoughts and dwell within worlds beyond what many claim to be the 'real', so I'm not understood by most, but that is not my concern. One thing is certain: if you are acquainted with me I can either be one of the nastiest bitches you'll ever meet, or one of the most caring people you'll ever meet. I'm firm on my beliefs/opinions and honest with most of what I say, so if you don't like it, that's not my problem. We should get along fine unless you decide to be asinine. I wouldn't suggest taking that route with me-- It will only wind up with you looking like the idiot you are, and me just laughing at your stupidity.
At first glance, maybe you'd like to throw me into the category of japanophiles who worship, breathe and live on all that has origins tied to Japan, but you would be wrong. I'm just interested in asian history, along with the fact that I DO read *some* manga--- but I don't want to base relationships of any sort on limited things. If our conversations only revolve around anime, manga, j-rock, etc., I'd rather pass on you. I'm a bit more broad than that. I happen to like INTELLECTUAL conversations.
To lay down the law, I am NOT going to accept:
- Bands on here who add me randomly who I don't have an interest in.
- People who advertise their webcam junk.
- Individuals who exist solely to spam accounts with promotional messages.
- Those who do not have photos of themselves or enough information on their profiles about themselves.
- Fake people. (And trust me, I'll find out one way or another if you are or are not fake, so don't test me.)
If you fall into any of the above, take a hike because I don't need you. Also, be aware that I DO read all my messages/comments but sometimes I choose not to respond, so don't get too offended, please. Other than that, I guess we're good.

Heroes:

Fyrinae, my best friend. You're one of the very few who I really live for in this world. You saved me in more ways than anyone could ever imagine and you've also helped me open my eyes to true beauty in life, so of course you're one of my greatest heroines. We're opposites in many ways, but through thick and thin, we've made it through so much. I'm glad every day of my life that I met such a great person, and every day that I am alive, I'll make sure that we both make it through to the next one together.
Darling, Jinni. It's hard to keep long distance relationships, especially more so with people whom you have never met before, but we managed to create a strong bond even from thousands of miles away. I consider myself so blessed to know such a wonderful person with a strong spirit. We've evolved and grown a lot in the past couple years, but my fondness for you will forever remain the same.
Kevin, my brother-from-another-mother. Without you, I would still be struggling with so many internal conflicts which were hard to get over. There aren't many people who I would rather have a deep [or silly] conversation with. Keep on rocking as you have been until now, and always remember to work towards achieving your dreams, as I will. [By the way, I'm waiting patiently for my huckepack ride, Kevin. Hahaha. ;P]

Damien, #1,000,014, my most loved of pets, and great friend. It's so unfair that we're so far away from one another, but as I keep saying, someday I'll have to meet you as you are and will forever remain my pal and a shoulder to cry on [even if it's a shoulder all the way in the U.K XD]. It's amazing how we are very similar when it comes to thoughts/beliefs, and how well you understand me. You're really one of the best people in the world and I love you with all my heart and soul.

Rain... In this world, there are many treasures to be unearthed--- You, I find, are one of the most rare and unique of them. Your kind words, your presence [in my mind] is very comforting, and beyond that, having you in my life instills endless color and warmth to it. There are so few people who I would truly call a friend, however, you have been one to me in the truest of senses. Wherever you are and whatever you may be doing, you'll always be in my heart.
