.. LOVE Music, love to dance , love playing steel pan, enjoy meeting new people, raving ect.I Have been a member of "Ghetto Luv" With my cousin Monique,(in the pictures above)for almost a year. Our sound is RnB/Hip-Hop, we have completed the album and will be relesing our first single called "GHETTO LOVE"(fingers crossed) this mounth.A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT ME:I was born and raised in Hackney, both parents English, their parents Trinidadian and jamaican. At just 8month's old I started taking part in the Notting Hill Carnival with Perpetual Beauty Carnival Accociation. I came 1st place each year playing 'Queen' for seven years in a row, then came second in 1991 which was my last year playing mass. By then at 6years old I found out about a steel band called Pantonic Steel Orchestra who had just moved into our mass camp as a permanent place to practice.The moment I heard the sound of steel pan I was intrigued and had to learn to play there and then. Then I started taking part in the London Panorama from 1990 and have been for the last 16 years,compeating against all the profesional steel band,s in London. The band's contain betwen 60-70 players in each band. We are judged on Presentation, ie; uniform, decoration of float's, Sound quality, Compisition and arrangement. Playing with Pantonic gave me the chance to tour with them, going to places like, Paris, Scotland, Germany ect; also doing other gig's like Luton, Stevenage Carnival and other compititions. This is one of the best experiences and influences in my life which I can take and will use in my singing career.Monique and I have a very strong and real releationship, which I think is very important when making sacrafices and comitment's the way we have. It's so easy to rush thing's and then flop thing's, we feel that we have taken our time and perfected what we have to give, still open to suggestions, (coz you dont alway's know it all) if you dont plan to sucseed then you plan to fail. We just hope people can relate and understand where we are coming from. The album is called "Life Related", we wrote all our song's relating to what, We, You, and I may have or are still going through........watch this space!!!!!!!
