Band Members: everybody always wants to compare enik's music to someone. they seem to have some need to do that. i have heard everything really. it sounds like enik to me, but some people say it's like bowie or björk or tom waits or the doors or peter gabriel or the beatles. Rolling Stone said it has the surreal elements of bowie and the theatre of tom waits. how can an artist sound like all those different legends all at once? and if he can, well that is genius anyway. it always sounds like enik to me. dreamy! ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------WOM Magazine thinks they hear some brecht/weill and Music Express detected what they think is nine inch nails. well, then there was this comparison to the raggae singer Patrice. i've heard people compare him to, U2, marilyn manson, placebo, and then of course lots of people like to talk about his time with the now defunct "funkstoerung". they say he's modern, traditional, progressive, pop, rock, jazz, cabaret, punk, funk, electro, dance, experimental, goth (unbelievable), theatre, folk, etc. sounds like something i need to be a part of. what can i say about enik? sorry, but nothing quite compares.
