Have been drawing cartoons and playing the drums since I was a child. Met two people when I was young who solidified both of these creative endeavours. First was Disney's head of animation, Eric Larson - one of the original "Nine Old Men" who worked with Walt Disney from the start. The other was famed jazz drummer Buddy Rich. Both these men challenged me to show my stuff & eventually winning their approval completely distorted my brain forever!! From that point on, my life had to be about art & music, no matter what the odds. Toured Europe with The IH Jazz Band - we represented North America at the International Youth Music Festival in Austria and took home the 1st place trophy! Before that, we were invited to play the Carnation jazz stage at Disneyland after winning first place in the Cal Poly Jazz Festival (2 years in a row) & another first in The World of Music Festival in San Diego, CA. Love rock 'n' roll and have played drums and sung in original bands like Good Dog Nigel, The Beatbirds, and Absolutely Free. We were featured in The LA Times, Music Connection and Bam Magazine...played The Roxy, The Whisky, The Palomino, etc. - good times! I'm always looking for opportunities to jam, gig and record. Currently I'm playing drums & singing with the Vegas jam band, LEMONVINE - check out our MySpace profile and gig schedule!
My roots are Celtic, but I was born in Puerto Rico and spent a portion of my childhood in Mexico - so I like my beer dark and my food spicy! Now that I'm living in Las Vegas, Nevada, I can get all this and more ; ) ROCK ON
