First and foremost, I am a car whore- car shows, car magazines, anything involving four wheels and a steering wheel. I am a well of useless trivia and should go on "Jeopardy!" or "Who Wants to be a Millionaire." I like museums, road trips, driving far to go eat LOL, hanging out and talking shit... HOWEVER! If there's nothing to do, I will gladly just knock out and take a nap; sleep is THE BEST. I'm usually down to try something new, so if you wanna have me join you insomething that I've never done before, just holla at me and I'll say yay or nay.
I believe MySpace is for friends, so I'm not looking to hook up through here... but I'mma post what I like anyway LOL. I like guys that know they're guys and act like it. I like tall guys, around my height or taller, and have a sense of humor. I'm open on race, but Latin men can totally cut the line LOL (not that there is one). Just be cool, non-drama, spontaneous, and affectionate; I'm a romantical kinda guy.As far as friends go, I tend to only add people that I know, although there are a few people on my friends list that I've never met, so feel free to try to get to know me. If you request that I add you, I always send a message asking you why the hell you wanna add my crazy ass LOL and will only approve it if you respond and we click on some level.
My iPod selections run the gamut from classic rock to opera, hip hop to country, disco to KROQ. I love the ladies who can SING (pre-crack Whitney, pre-video ho Mariah, Barbra, Judy, etc.). I used to take voice lessons, so I appreciate vocal ability over studio workmanship.
I love to get lost in movies, and I prefer dramas since most comedies aren't really funny, and I love indie films that try to aim higher than most mainstream fare. Some of my fave flicks are "Arthur" (all-time favorite); "Hackers"; "Go"; "Ronin" (awesome car chases); "Steel Magnolias"; "The American President"; "What's Eating Gilbert Grape"; "The Devil Wears Prada"; "The Illusionist; "What's Cooking?" (a multi-cultural Thanksgiving flick); "Monsoon Wedding" (an Indian movie about a wedding in a monsoon-duh); "Black Snake Moan..." I love going up to LA to see the shit that doesn't get played down here in the ghetto.
I've given up on a lot of TV, but the only shows that I'm watching now are "Weeds," "Californication," "Gossip Girl" (don't clown), "Dirty Sexy Money," and "Nip/Tuck." I always watch the news (Channel 7!), "The View" if I'm home, and some of the house shows on HGTV. Another guilty pleasure is "The Antique Roadshow;" I could watch it for hours. Past favorites include "Sex and the City"; "Roseanne"; "The Cosby Show"; "Six Feet Under" (every season but the shitty last one); "Queer as Folk"; and "Sports Night," among others.
I don't read nearly as much as I used to, but I want to get my liberry card back and start reading the classics that I either didn't read or should have read back in high school. My favorite book of all time is "The Da Vinci Code," a very detailed and descriptive book that raises many questions (and answers just as many) about the early days of the Catholic Church, an institution that I'm very proud to say I'm no longer a part of.
It's almost shameful that there's not someone out there that I choose to admire or look up to, unless this category is about the show "Heroes," which I can't stand LOL.
