My name is Riku. I grew up with my two best friends on Destiny Island. That is, until the day darkness swallowed our world. Then I was seperated from both Sora and Kairi. I spent the rest of my time searching for the both of them, until I found Sora and came to the conclusion that he replaced me with two new friends. Instead, I left him and allowed Maleficent to brainwash me into thinking that Sora was my enemy. She gave me powers to control heartless so when I met Sora again, I attacked him with them. My goal back then was to get Kairi's heart back no matter what, but when Sora defeated me in the castle Hallow Bastion, I retreated only to be confronted by Ansem's heartless. He swallowed my heart in darkness and became me. The second time I fought Sora that night, I wasn't myself. I was Ansem.After Sora defeated Ansem, King Mickey and I helped seal the door of Kingdom Hearts by sacrificing ourselves. I allowed myself to wallow in darkness until the King helped me out. I traveled with him until we were forced to part paths, and instead went to confront the Organization about their newest member Roxas and why he wielded the Keyblade. He defeated me easily, but the second time I came back with the power of darkness and took him to DiZ so we could help unlock Sora's lost memories. When Roxas "disappeared", I helped Sora in the shadows along his journey, but I didn't want him to see me. I gave him clues about passwords, helped him secretly about the heartless, and even took out some Organization members along the way.I was reunited with Kairi after she escaped in The World That Never Was thanks to her Nobody, Namine. We fought, and eventually came face to face with Sora. He didn't recognize me at first, what I wanted, until Kairi connected us. I didn't want him to see me because of my appearance, but they both insisted. In the end, we continued to fight Xemnas together. Ansem the Wise, who I knew had been desguised as DiZ, tried to turn the hearts of Kingdom Hearts into data. It backfired, exploded, and killed him. Somewhere in the mix, I returned back to my original appearance. Together with Sora, we fought Xemnas to the death, and ended up in the darkness, looking upon the light. Something about Kairi's 'love' bottle must have opened a door in Sora's heart, and the both of us returned to Destiny Island together.Submit to the darkness of your heart...
