I am here for Friends

About Me

I've got an awsome wife, 4 cute daughters, and in September I'll have a SON! I'm in the Army and could retire in about 9 years if I can support my family with my retirement. My shoe size is 8 1/2 extra wide and there is a diminishing group of people find me rather witty. Hopefully, that group will grow exponentially as I will soon start blogging again to share my unique insights and better educate the younger generations. We currently live in Bressanvido, Italy just at the foothills of the Alps. No, seriously...I can see the FLIPPIN' ALPS from our front porch! It's beautiful here so if you're in the area you should drop by. I enjoy World of Warcraft, hope to reitre in Texas on the coast, and am a much bigger geek than is probably healthy for any one person. Pringles hold an amazing fascination and I vow that someday I will be able to put one in my mouth and close my jaws without breaking it. I defy you to do better!myspace graphics & layouts

My sandwich

Here's a tale that's oh so true and filled with mirth (ok, not so much) drama, paint, and ... the sandwich. It happened as I was desperately attempting to clear Fort Polk.  In an effort to a...

The tired-er I get the more tired I am.

Have you ever noticed that the more tired you are the less energy you have.  Is there some connection there? I will now read the mind of a badger: Hey!  What's happening?  I smell somet...

I'm Feelin' Feisty!

Anyone who has spoken to me in the last 6 months has probably heard my passionate speech about Linux, specifically Ubuntu. The other day I upgraded one machine from version 6.06 to 6.10 (Dapper to Edg...
