About Me

I'm married to a wonderful man who overcome more obsticles
than anyperson I've personally known in my life. I am
blessed to say I went through much of it with him, and we
survived, and come out stronger than ever. I learned a lot
about who my real friends were in times of strife and who
were just trash talkers with a huge mound of bad karma
coming back around at them (and I didn't want to be around
when it come to get them). LOL! I've since met more people
and been able to use my lessons learned to make better &
more trust-worthy friends in the crowds. I'm blessed with
three wonderful children of my own, and one step-daughter.
I would love to have more kids, but my baby days ended
after receiving a diagnosis in January 2005. So, I figure,
well at least I got three great kids out of life before
getting dealt the cards. LOL! I'm 6'0", about 260lbs, have
short brown hair, green eyes, and a ghetto booty to trail
behind me. LOL! I enjoy a good laugh, movies, traveling,
talking with friends, hanging out with my family, music,
graphics designing, and well - I don't think I have enough
room to list it all. I run gaming tournaments online on
occassion with leagues. I run a couple of online Mom loops
with great ladies that live in my area & I love chatting
with them. They accept me and my strifes, regardless. I've
found them to be great ladies to chat with and hang out
with. I have one girlfriend (female friend .. not
girlfriend like sex) in particular I am very close to, and
we spend much time having fun, playing games, and just
talking our days (and nights) away. I live in the DFW area
of Texas and enjoy the city life. I was stuck in East
Texas for a few years, and GOD was it a living nightmare
out there. LOL!! I've Been in Texas all of my life, but I
would love to move to another state up north or even
another country. I just love to explore and seek
adventure. My husband and I do a lot of stuff together.
He's got his own blacksmithing deal going on, so I've been
spending time learning from him, and about to start doing
some work with copper art myself. Hmm... my likes
and dislikes: I'm afraid of large dogs (most of them),
spiders (ick...), & open heights (go figure). I
like mice, snakes, motorcycles, the colors black - maroon -
dark green - dark blue - white and purplish colors. I
enjoy the beach, swimming, nature in most forms, pretty
sunsets/rises, flowers, animals (except big dogs.. lol),
and I LOVE music. My inspiration come from my grandfather
(rest his soul), and eventually it lead to me playing with
the Fort Worth Symphony once. It was a blessing while I
had the time to experience it. Maybe one day I can do it
again. Who knows? My recent challenges over the last
couple of years have been centered around health.
Apparently, I inherited a couple of diseases from my
family. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and
Fibromyalgia. I've met more women lately with this same
coupling of diseases and it's helped a great deal to have
support. However, I've yet to meet anyone my age with
both, so it can be discouraging at times. I'm on a few
forms of treatment and I am in study groups with local
research labs on working for better medications and
possibly a cure. Until then, I experience several symptoms
that inhibit daily general activities - which has not
helped me weight wise. If anything, it made me appreciate
walking when I can a hell of a lot more!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Someone with a practical mind, laid back personality
& a sense of humor that doesn't get us all arrested.
I'd love to add to my wonderful collection of friends. I'm
not looking for anything sexual. I've enough to keep me
busy. LOL! I'm just interested in friends. I spend some
time chatting online, but not as much as I used to. I've
since grown more addicted to having 3D friends than
internet friends. Although the internet friends I have are
great too! LOL! Race, religion, weight, height ... I don't
care. Just come chat if ya want to chat and who knows, we
may have a lot more in common than you ever thought! When
I make a friend, if that friend is good to me, they will
always be my friend till they tell me to go away. So
be prepared to be my friend for a long time to come! ;)
.. You scored as One Intelectual Individual. You're a thinker. You see things from a very different prospective than the rest of the world, and probably find release and self-expression in music, painting, scalpting, or any other form of art. People see you as a deep person, full of knowledge that they don't understand. People are attracted to that, but there's a good chance you don't care.
