First sets of Funk und Dancefloorjazz where played at the Groove Odessey, Circus Maximus - Koblenz, Germany. As Didgeridoo Player and Producer for the Live Act "Di-per" (Didgeridoo + Percussion + Dj) he sells his first Album and plays at several Festivals and Partys. 3 years later he played and organized the first GRANdE MASSIFE "das Koblenzer Open Air für elektronische Musik" - Koblenz, Germany. In 2009 the 7th issue will be done.
Later in 2003 he moved to Leipzig, and he started playing Nujazz and Electro @ opening nights, exhibitions, theaters and partys at Galerie-Blumen, linxxnet, Heinrich Bude Haus ect. - Leipzig, Germany. Since 2005 he is playing clubs in Leipzig. He becomes Resident Dj at the KA! and Gigs of the Live Act Di-per taken place at Horns Erben, Moritz Bastei, Leipzig and Circuvs Maximus, Koblenz. D'dread began to promote dj-emquipment for international brands - like KORG and PERCUSSA - buy playing at the "Musikmesse" - Frankfurt, Germany and presenting the audiocubes at the 6th GRANdE MASSIFE Open Air - Koblenz, Germany. In 2008 he started playing "Live Soundtracks" for silent movies. He set music to "Menschen am Sonntag" at the Schaubühne Lindenfels - Leipzig, Germany and in September he will be setting music to Lubischs "Sumurun" during the "Deutsche Filmwochen" - Kiev, Ukranie.
Today he plays basically the funky kind of NuBreaks and also selected D'n'B Tunes. Also Electro und Downbeat Tunes are offeres well. Venues are held at varying location: Moritz Bastei, Victor Jara, Damenhandschuhfabrik, Staubsauger, KA! etc. (for details see below). D'dread is spinning with turntables as well as with digital dj-emquipment and he is very into the percussa audio cubes.
