Think Big, Live Humbly

About Me

I'm an Art Education major at SUNY Oswego. When I'm not at college, I'm usually training in Aikido, or I read whatever I can get my hands on, as well as sometimes spending unhealthy amounts of time in front of the computer. I love music, but too much just makes me want to get away from it. As the whole "Art Education major" part pretty much implies, I enjoy working with artwork, and trying to find a visual interpretation to life that suits what I see. I also just started an Aikido Club at Oswego, and I'm planning on having a lot fun with that. I can usually keep a conversation going for hours, just because I love talking to people, learning about different stuff and what kind of things people do. It's my favorite way to get to know people.
-Ueshiba Morihei O'Sensei
The Art of Peace
"Peace originates with the flow of things - its heart is like the movement of the wind and waves. The Way is like the veins that circulate blood through our bodies, following the natural flow of the life force. If you are seperated in the slightest from that divine essence, you are far off the path."
"Contemplate the workings of this world, listen to the words of the wise, and take all that is good as your own. With this as your base, open your own door to truth. Do not overlook the truth that is right before you. Study how water flows in a valley stream, smoothly and freely between the rocks. Also learn from holy books and wise people. Everything - even mountains, rivers, plants and trees - should be your teacher."
"Even though our path is completely different from the warrior arts of the past, it is not necessary to abondon totally the old ways. Absorb venerable traditions into this Art by clothing them with fresh garmets, and build on the classic styles to create better forms."
"The purpose of training is to tighten up the slack, toughen the body, and polish the spirit."
Your Element Is Water
A bit of a contradiction, you can seem both lighthearted and serious.
That's because you're good at going with the flow - but you also are deep.
Highly intuitive, you tune in to people's emotions and moods easily.
You are able to tap into deep emotional connections and connect with others.
You prefer a smooth, harmonious life - but you can navigate your way around waves.
You have a knack for getting people to get along and making life a little more peaceful. What's Your Element?
You Are An ENTP
The Visionary
You are charming, outgoing, friendly. You make a good first impression.
You possess good negotiating skills and can convince anyone of anything.
Happy to be the center of attention, you love to tell stories and show off.
You're very clever, but not disciplined enough to do well in structured environments.
In love, you see everything as a grand adventure. You enjoy taking risks for love.
And if things don't work out, you're usually not too much worse for the wear!
You would make a great entrepreneur, marketing executive, or actor.
At work, you need a lot of freedom to pursue your own path and vision.
How you see yourself: Analytical, creative, and peaceful
When other people don't get you, they see you as: Detached, wishy-washy, and superficial What's Your Personality Type?
