About Me

You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor !On Thanksgiving Day, 2001 I was diagnosed with stage IIB ovarian cancer. I was only 30. They had to do a radical hysterectomy and although my doctor wanted me to start chemotherapy right away, I couldn't because I had no health insurance and no one would front the costs.I eventually navigated the social services system and got treatment, but by the time I had my second CAT scan, the doctors found my ovarian cancer had spread to my liver. I was now stage IV.I was scared and despite the fact I had my family and friends rallying behind me, I felt all alone. But then I realized I wasn't alone, that despite the fact at 2 a.m. it seemed as though no one knew my pain and feelings of despair, God knew. And He wanted me to give Him my sorrows for Him to handle for me. A few weeks later, my next CAT scan revealed nothing on my liver.Do I believe in miracles? You bet. And I want to help anyone who needs a miracle, just by sharing my story, I hope it might give someone else out there ~*~H~O~P~E~*~. There is always time for one more miracle and there is always ~*H~O~P~E*~.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

My fellow cancer warriors. It is always inspiring and encouraging to meet others who have experienced a life-changing event like a cancer diagnosis. It's also a continual learning experience for me. I never want to forget the pain and the sense of loss, because the day I do, I will forget what it's (life) all about.
