I'm a past Treasurer (2000 - 2002) and President (2003 - 2005) of the Nova Scotia Film & Television Producer's Association, and a former member of the Film Advisory Committee for the Province of Nova Scotia. I served as a consultant on the film and television industry for the governments of Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as Salter Street Films. I'm curently a member of the Board of Directors for the Motion Picture Industry Association of Nova Scotia.
In a past life as a musician, I co-founded Tall Poppies (1991 - 1994) and Julia's Rain (1994 - 1998); in my present life as a musician, I'm currently writing and arranging new songs for the first time in a decade, for a solo album tentatively called "Semaphore" which I'll be recording this fall.
I'm a member of the Nova Scotia Barrister's Society and the Society of Authors, Composers & Publishers.
I'm the Jack Kerouac of the paranormal.
I'm a 19th century Romantic stuck in a cold-hearted modern world.
Finally, I'm a Jedi Master named Obi-Paul, although I often have a... strained relationship with the Jedi Council, because I don't always do things the Jedi way.
