5 O'Clock Music is a Billboard recognized independent record label. Its goal is to emerge into a full entertainment company with an eye towards extracting and developing artist. As the parent company for several other startup ventures and partnerships, 5 O'Clock is positioning itself for long-term success.
To date, 5 O’Clock has released NUMEROUS singles and full-length album from rap recording artist Strizzo, a pre-release CD from acapella jazz sextet 3AM (3rd Angel’s Message), Lee Cort, Mike Medina and partnered with KEEZONE PRDOUCTIONS on the Javon Black "Shawty Tear it Up" single. Universal Republic has brought JB / KeeZone to the roster opening up the JOOK CITY MOVEMENT To the world.
JAVON BLACK: Orlando based R&B Artist Javon Black is being called the south's answer to the future of R&B. He is the newest representative of the JOOK City movement based in central Florida. Black, discovered by Lil Kee (KeeZone Productions) had been working and developing his sound.
With writing and production experience to his credit, he willingly teamed up with Kee. Soon after, he immediately signed him to KeeZone Productions. Lil’ Kee and partner Strizzo (5 O'Clock Music) had been on the front end of a sound they called JOOK MUSIC and coined Tampa as the "Jook City".
Together (you tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rakzijIgHYg), they campaigned on Javon's debut single and began promotions in October 2008. The end result is "Shawty Tear it Up". All three can be heard on the remix. "Shawty Tear it up" is now available on iTunes and all digital download websites.

STRIZZO first burst on the southeast region music scene with the release of “Whatcha Workin Wit!?. The base heavy tune featured fellow 5 O’Clock artist Shyzte and received club play in central Florida. He soon tempted listeners to test their drop-it-like-its-hot with the song “Hopp Down” (produced by DJ Chill). But it was his self produced single “Low, Lowww” (Pt 1 and Pt 2) that put Strizzo on the map within the southeast region of the United States.
When asked about the song, Strizzo says, “We were just going to use this beat as an interlude, we had no idea that it was going to be a hit record”. To date, “Low, Lowww” has received airplay from several stations all over the southeast region, with heaviest play in Tallahassee, which seems to be the hot bed for the new south sound. CD and Vinyl record pools have been serviced throughout Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. 904 Record Pool was the first to chart the single in Ozone Magazine as number one (1) in February. The songs’ first play officially came from WTMP 96.1 FM (Tampa) and first ad was Blazin 102.3 FM Tallahassee in September. In August of 2005, 5 O’Clock Music inked its first distribution deal with Ophir Music Distribution, putting the Strizzo full length Album available in stores and online everywhere.
