This sincere and humble request was the birthing of the ministry for anointed worship leader, psalmist and song writer Cherubim.Considered one of the most gifted vessels in the body of Christ today, Cherubim leads praise services ushering the audience into a deeper level of worship using classic hymns, contemporary ballads and songs inspired by the Holy Spirit.A native of Los Angeles, CA, Cherubim’s family members were her first musical influences. “I come from a family of amazing singers yet I never felt my voice held a candle to theirs” she says. “I remember attending programs where I would see gifted singers refuse to perform when requested and it would make me extremely sad. I couldn’t understand why they would refuse to bless others with their gifts. I promised God if he answered my prayer I would sing for him forever”.Prompted by a local talent scout, Cherubim successfully auditioned to attend the Hamilton Academy of Music. “At Hamilton a whole new world of music was opened to me” she says. “I was introduced to musical theatre, jazz, madrigals and more. This is where God began to train my voice and let me know that I also had received my family gift of song”. As the god-daughter and protégé of the “First Lady of Praise and Worship” Judith Christie- McAllister, Cherubim received spiritual training in operating in her calling. In addition she was taught the principal’s of character and how not to compromise her gift at any cost.Cherubim has shared the stage with some of the Gospel industries biggest names including Donnie McClurkin, Kurt Carr and Judy McAllister to name a few. She has also performed on several occasions on the worldwide Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN).Cherubim currently serves as the Worship Leader for Full Harvest Church in Carson, CA and is preparing to record a live worship DVD in the Spring of 2007.
