Music (pop rock soul dance electronic jazz blues etc.etc. anything with notes, basically.), RPG's (games not guns), computer games, fiction, none fiction, books, food & cookery thereof & much more.
People that I respect, and people I aspire to one day be like (true musicians, songwriters, DJs, remixers, producers, engineers etc.)There are far too many to list.
Recent Tracks:Weekly Top 5 Artists:
Living with a flatmate who is into films takes it's toll. Films I have recently seen and enjoyed:Oldboy; Motorcycle Diaries (amazing soundtrack); What's Eating Gilbert Grape & many more (thank god for film4)Also, probably my favourite ever films are those that are the work of Christopher Guest. Spinal Tap; Waiting for Guffman; Best in Show; A Mighty Wind and hopefully, come february, For Your Consideration (very excited about this...)
Idiot Box! Informative programmes, especially food programmes. Also comedy, such as Never Mind the Buzzcocks; Mighty Boosh; QI; Have I Got News for You; Yes Minister; Curb your Enthusiasm etc.I hate the genre of 'New British Comedy' such as Catherine Tate & Little Britain. It's just not funny. And the 2nd series of extras was a massive dissapointment.
Latest reads: Frankenstein; Yes Man (lifechanger!);High Fidelity; uni books (i am geek); Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. Up next: Confederacy of Dunces.
Too many to mention them all, but they're all pretty much musicians, producers, engineers, composers, songwriters. Colin Farell has recently entered my hero list because anyone who can even be in a film with that tash and haircut truly is a man of steel.
