I'm from a band called Joy Division now reformed and known as New Order. I grew up in Macclesfield but spent most of my performing years in Salford . The bands original name was Warsaw but we had to change it due to another group already possessing the name. We realeased our first album in June 1979, which was recorded at Strawberry Studios, Stockport and produced by the legendary Martin Hannett and engineered by Chris Nagle.
