Flamingobay(EX-Starsgettingstones) is an autonomous unit of un-extraordinary kids brought
up on pop culture between the years of 1989 and the present day. Like many such kids, between them they eventually decided that their own attempts to imitate what had informed them could be interpreted as a worthy variation on the many forms that preceded. They do everything that’s required to conform to the currently received ideas of what a band is: haphazardly to play instruments at the same time, but also have a title for the work created.The string players Ben (guitar), Rouven (guitar) and Tibor (bass) often resemble what can be understood as odd behavior when performing on stage. Their arrangements are everything but harmonizing, interrupted by outbursts of glam rock elements contributing to the overall effect of constant and uncontrolled squeaking treble, pipes and whistling. The neglected missing two of the five narrow-minded, stupid and arrogant band members are Denis (drums) and Katrin (vocals). Denis is probably one of the most famous drummers when it comes to fail to hold the right time and Katrin miraculously plays her active part in slipping through different scales at one time!
