My name is Mitch, I am almost 17. I can't tell you exactly who I am, because I'm not sure of who I am. I am unique, 100% one of a kind. I believe that everyone is their own person. You don't need to belong. You don't need anyone else to tell you what to believe in.
I am a vegetarian, and have been since February of 2007. Growing up, I always thought it to be strange to eat animals. I mean, they're creatures, just like us. I wouldn't want cows raising me for slaughter, so I don't do it to them. I am a firm believer in the "treat others the way you want to be treated" saying, dorky? definitly. But true. And "others" includes animals.
I hope to finish highschool with pretty good grades and continue on to art school. I really am interested in fashion, modeling and photography (which all seem to go hand in hand). But my main interest is fashion. I hope to move to New York after high school and go to school there. I would love to be accepted into a school that teaches all of the arts, as well as the buisness aspect of marketing your product and owning a busniess. I am currently taking all of the busniness courses I can in high school, as so I can hopefully graduate with a special business credit (achieved when completed 5 or more business courses).
I would really love to hook up with peta one day and make a difference. My life goal is to be happy doing what I want. Currently I dream of making my own clothes, and perhaps one day opening my own clothing store just like my Great Grandfather did years ago.
As you may have noticed, over the years, as I have changed my profile many times, one person's photo has always remained on my page (other than my own). And that person is Audrey Hepburn. She is more than an idol to me. To me, she is the perfect woman. Words can not express how amazing she really is. I use "is" instead of "was" because she has influenced many people over the years. And her work is still with us today, and I believe a part of her is still living in not only her work, but everyone she's influenced. I would have given anything to have met the perfect woman. May she live on in our hearts.
To keep you all updated, I just thought I would post this letting you all know that I am working on making my own shirts, but also am in the process of moving/renovating so it will be a few months before that's all finished. And on top of that, I took the time to apprentice at a print-shop to learn how everything is done, and I have come to the conclusion that it is not something as easy as I thought it would be. I'm not giving up, but it may be a long while before I get anything (shirt-wise) out. I will have to save up some cash to buy all of the proper equipment and on top of that, I am horrid at spreading ink across the screen. I have had a countless amount of people offering to help me out/work for me in the future, and I thank you all. I may take in one or two people to help me run things once I get things rolling. In the mean time, I have been thinking about some other things I can do to pass my time, but that's all extremely top-secret and you all now know too much! I'm sure the FBI will stop monitoring my thoughts some time soon, they're the ones who keep playing New Kids On The Block in my head whenever I'm on to an amazing idea. Damn those New Kids, and their distractions!
