You found Me. I am 33 years old.
I've lost my husband whom I had been with for 12 years.
He died due to complications resulting from a car accident. His name is Jake.
Jake was my life. We argued like most passionate couples in love might argue, from time to time, but in our 12 years together, we never broke up or separated. We were in love.
Jake and I had 3 beautiful children together; all boys.
I suffered extraordinary emotional and psychological pain after my husband passed away. I just wanted to be with him so very much and the thought of having to live my life without him seemed incomprehensibly unbearable.
I temporarily disconnected from everything and everyone. I stopped eating. I didn't care about life. Then an old friend came into my life and recognized the profound wreckage and debris that scattered around my heart, my mind, my life; keeping me bound, chained, and ravaged by the daily grind of reminders that refused to relent and let go and let me move on.
This old friend awakened me from the cruel and insufferable nightmare and enabled me to move on.
He helped me get back on my feet and enabled me realize that my boys needed me more than anything. Of course they did.
If it wasn't for my wonderful friend, I might not be here today.
James and I became best friends and eventually fell most deeply in love and while it was so unexpected, I knew that Jake would not have wanted me to be alone.
James and I have a 1 1/2 year old boy together. His name is Miguel and we love him so dearly. Furthermore, I'm excited to announce that James and I are now joyfully expecting another child together.
This time I think I'm having a girl. I've added some new pictures of the kids.
In case you didnt know, I have a powerful and profound passion for poetry.
I tend to write some of my poems when I am feeling down.
I use the deepest parts of my imagination and creativity when I write my poetry. I'm now beginning to make an effort to get some of my poems published. If you haven't viewed my poems yet, please feel free to read my works at
