About Me

Sticking mainly to Southside, September has serenaded the creatures of the night with her unique musical stylings and her sweet, raspy voice for 3 years now. Her range of style runs from sweet and sympathetic acoustic to bold and unapologetic accapella, and her subject matter covers everything from heartbreak to penis size. No subject is off limits, but you won't find any love songs on this girl's set list. She sings it all, real and raw, with a healthy dose of cynicism and just a touch of hope. Don't worry,....you'll like it.September decided last year to take a break from performing and focus on writing instead. She abandoned her guitar and returned to her first love: the piano. An old friend, the piano has allowed her to stretch her wings a little and try different styles of music. But her words are just as powerful and heart-wrenching as they once were...And now that she has a plethora of new songs and a new, edgier style, she is back on stages around Birmingham. Keep your eyes peeled for new dates and showtimes! stayed tuned for ALL NEW MUSIC on mama's new keyboard =) live recordings coming soon!!
