He has also performed in front of small and large audiences. For KNX writing lyrics is therapeutic. It is a way for him to connect with people and turn negatives into positives. He touches diverse audiences because he never hesitates to push the envelope when it comes to his subject matters.KNX understands the importance of social responsibility and many of his songs on this album reflect this fact. He knows that the lyrics of a song could have profound effects on people’s lives. For this reason, the first single chosen from the THINK BIG album is a song called “Too Much Killing”. The song is about the realities of violence and its effects on the lives of everyone involved.“I know every beef isn’t squashable, I’m just saying every hand isn’t washable,” says KNX in the song.The premise of “Too Much Killing” is that violence affects people’s lives, no matter on which side they are. The song appeals to everyone to think about the consequences of their violent actions. What inspired KNX to write this song is that he has personally seen the effects of violence on the lives of the offenders, the victims, and both of their families. In addition, he immigrated to Canada from a country where war and violence was a way of life.KNX was born in the heart of the Persian Empire, the city of Tehran, Iran. He was 4 years old when he left Iran and started a new life in Toronto. He grew up in the Hip Hop culture listening to lyrical rappers such as Big Pun, Wu-Tang Clan, and Boot Camp just to name a few.“I would often battle rap with my high school friends or freestyle over somebody beatboxing”, says KNX.Perhaps one of the best things that ever happened to KNX was his passion for music, because it helped him stay away from the gangs and the violence that surrounded him. Instead, he would spend most of his free time writing, producing, and recording music. This professional development has resulted in the creation of a timeless album that is truly different from any other Hip Hop albums created to this date.The songs on the THINK BIG album have been produced and recorded at KNX’s own studio in Toronto, mixed by veteran mixing engineer Jim Zolis at “Zolis Audio” in Toronto, and mastered by Tony Dawsey at “Masterdisk” in New York.While remaining true to his roots, KNX demonstrates that Hip Hop can be for anyone, regardless of race and religion. Using perseverance, patience, and sacrifice as his tools, KNX has steadily been adding to his fan base.
