I grew up in New Zealand and Australia where I studied classical and jazz violin in Brisbane, Queensland. I travelled to Germany playing with the Australian folk-rock band Popproperly for the first time in 1997. After touring for 4 years, I decided to stay in Europe, and am now permanently based near Frankfurt, Germany where I teach violin, play solo gigs (classical/jazz) and am a member of various bands including Aroha (acoustic duo), Can-Gurus (African-reggae-folk-rock) and Lilith (acoustic jazz-folk).
