Auchinleck Talbot F.C. are the most celebrated club in Scottish junior football history. They have broken records that will never be equalled and continue to dominate the junior football scene.
The team itself was born in 1909 after a meeting at Kirklands Green,Auchinleck. By July of that year Beechwood Park was opened, and by August Talbot had played their first game, running out 4-0 winners against Highhouse Rangers in a benefit match.
Since that first match against Highhouse Rangers, Auchinleck Talbot have climbed the ranks to not only be the most famous team in Scottish Junior football history, but one of the most famous teams in Scottish football. It doesn't matter where you go in the country, everyone has heard of the famous team that play in Black & Gold....
