Dakota Nights

About Me

Dakota Nights, was the brain child of Jay Anthony and Alexander Scott. Beginning in late 2006, Jay and Alex met while playing in another local band, Uncommon Ground. They recruited drummer Colin Sauder, from the local cover band scene in January of 2007.

January, 2008 Dakota Nights finishes up mixing and mastering of their self titled debut EP, recorded at The Blue Room Recording Studios in Watford, Ontario. Recently added to the line up is second guitarist, Ivan Recinos. Dakota Nights had the opportunity to play with a few bassists, and only until now have they found their missing low end. Derek Green, originally from the Hamilton area, now living in London, is the full time bassist for Dakota Nights.
