I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Sadly, in my youth I went from looking like Elliot in E.T. to Doogie Houser.
Now, I look like any number of guys you know: From the right angle in the right light, I look like one of the Barenaked Ladies--or the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Guy...
I am a former scrawny-kid-geek, I am now a mid-sized guy-geek who gets paid to be a Big Kid: designing and illustrating books, magazines, games and at least one Video Game.
I am witty, intelligent and funny (often unintentionally).
I love movies, art, fiction (science and otherwise), comics, music and discussions (and heated arguments) about those things.
I hate the current state of the world--and my inablility to do anything about it--and I would love to listen to others of a like mind.
I am exceedingly good a trivia games (or just being trivial, I am not really sure) and am always ready for a rematch of the "Connect Four" Championship of the World. I miss Mean Mr. Mustards on Tuesday and Thursday nights (that was a club on campus, for any little kids under the age of 25).
I am real.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I am always looking for new friends or re-connecting with old ones.
After almost a year working on a video game on the West Coast, I moved back to Ohio and most of my friends had moved on, the places I used to go to were bulldozed over, and I spent a hermit-like year working out of my house.
But now, after five years getting my freelance design and illustration career off the ground, life is pretty good! I am looking for cool people to hang out with, befriend, maybe go bicycling with and hopefully change a good life into a great one.
And, OH YEAH...anyone who wants to give me some work. I have no pride!
One thing though: IF YOU WANT ME TO ADD YOU, YOU HAVE TO SEND A MESSAGE--I DON'T USUALLY ADD PEOPLE OUT OF THE BLUE...So, take a minute and drop me a line--I don't bite I swear!
Now Listen to some of the "Greatest Hits" of my life:
