Seckond Chaynce was born and raised on the north side of Jacksonville , Fl. Although Chaynce grew up around drugs and violence he was never really a bad child. His mother did all she could to keep he and his two younger siblings away from the negative activity that was increasing rapidly in their city. Like many children in his age group, Chaynce grew up and started to stray away from the life that his mother had laid out for him. Trying to follow the footsteps of some of his family members and favorite rappers, Chaynce started selling drugs and eventually dropped out of school with only a 9th grade education. Music was his passion and the only thing that kept him going after he dropped out of school. Having the talent to do great thing in the music industry, he moved to Atl, Ga with one of his close relatives. After two years of traveling back and forth from Atl to Fl he finally got the connection he needed. He was steps away from landing a record deal with a major record label and then the unthinkable happend. The deal went bad and Chaynce was forced to move back to Tampa, Florida with his mother who was at the time homeless and also living with a relative. Chaynce, hating the situation that he was in, went back to selling weed and made several attempts at getting his G.E.D but he kept dropping out of the programs. With life and time running out on him Chaynce called on a name that he had not called upon in a long time.
JESUS CHRIST!!!!!
Its been 4 years since the day Trevor Thomas became Seckond Chaynce and he has realized that his only reason for being is to worship the Lord and to spread the uncompromising TRUTH about God and his word, not with his lips on sunday morning ,but every day of his life. God has allowed Chaynce to feel the Holy Ghost and to experience power first hand. CHAYNCE SAYS: I have come to the point where I dont care what people say about me , I love Jesus and I dont care How lame I look in the Eyes of the world. With my lips ,with my life and with my music I will Worship the Lord Jesus Christ. No record deal no amount of money can replace the Joy I have found in Christ.
