HISTORY:
Crown Fam Records was established in 2006 with the coming together of 3 artists. Shugga Shane & Lil Shine, who had just left "Young Stars Inc." to pursue their solo careers always wanted to go independant. At about this time, they were trying to stack a nice roster for the forthcoming company, so they added one of their homies from the neighborhood. This up & coming artist will be later known as Gamble. Since the 3 orignally were from the same neighborhood click, [ B.C.F. ] aka Bengali Crown Family (est 2004/2005), Shugga Shane decided to start a Record Label and dubbed it CROWN FAM RECORDS, so they can always have ties with their old click. Soon after, other artists who showed potential and also other members of old crew were added on the roster: Blaze (Producer), Celestial, Draztik & Shakespear( who has known Shugga Shane & Lil Shine over a decade). Doe Boi was added later in early 2007 after his return to CA. Crown Fam Records is affiliated with GanGreen & Bassline Records
Since then, we have been conistently putting out good music for all people to hear. Rocking stages of all kinds, parties, nite clubs, show cases etc... We have dropped a few mixtapes and are still producing the LONG AWAITED SUMMER RELEASE: Shugga Shane's "THE DOPE VOL. 1".
