LET’S REWIND… Back in the late summer of ’04 the former grime collective known as the “Oneova crew†had just finished a set in Hackers, Norbury. They included a dj Ironman & mc Kid Friday, the set was a success, infact they blow the speakers away!!! Unfortunately dj Digital & mc Fifa were playing next, playing on a messed up system was not a good look but they were impressed with Ironman’s mixing skills.
Digital later bumps into Ironman at Meducers a few weeks later, numbers exchanged and meetings held. The mutual respect for each other develops into a new sound… KRAZY HYPE CREW was born. Consisting of the bashment playing couple Digital & Fifa and garage specialists Ironman & Kid Friday.
FAST FORWARD… It’s now 2006 and Krazy Hype are here still doing it. Now they play everything and anything, the usual stuff to the unorthodox but it will still have you raver’s skanking like no other! We have played in numerous big promotions such as Turnmills, Loop, Area, Copyright and many more.........
So the name is growing and people are getting to know. Krazy Hype isn’t your regular “crew†we are different (who else plays the pro evolution 5 theme as an intro and still get a big response!!)
