The fullness of my lips represents the power that deeply extracts the love from your soul. My skin, privileged with a splash of melanin, captures the rays which provides me with the energy to love you forever. My spirituality is strong, so we may walk hand in hand in faith.
I hold the African rhythm of drum beats, and dance expressions past down from my ancestors. They embrace me with true knowledge so I will never forget where I came from. I am that image your mind portrays and your heart speaks of.
