About Me

Right now I am a student at the University of Oregon, I am majoring in Political Science so I can later move on and go to law school to become a civil rights lawyer. I can say I have never been happier in my life than I am right now. There is so much to experience and I love each and every day because of that. I love just hanging out with good people, good food, and of course good music. I believe the key to life is to only hang out with people who add a positive experience to your life. I don't like fakeness, because I think that reveals a lot about someone's character and how they perceive themself. I believe that success is open to interpretation. I am not looking to be extremely wealthy, to win an amazing award, to be known by all, I am searching to be happy my entire life, with more ups than there are downs. I love meeting new people as long as they have something to add to life and they are searching to enrich their own.

My Interests

I have a lot of interests. A few are philosophy, tennis, politics, reading, having a good time, decorating my dorm with window paint, music, piano: I love the piano, FOOD!!!

Music:

I don't really have a specific genre that I listen too. I am not close minded when it comes to music. I do have to say though that I can only handle country in small doses and rap is only ok sometimes, very rare cases, unless its like Atmosphere than that is ok. I mostly listen to alternative rock and a lot, a lot of classic rock. I must say that most of my favorites come from the 60s and/or 70s.

Movies:

Requiem for a Dream, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Little Miss Sunshine, Garden State, Moulin Rouge, Forrest Gump, Almost Famous, Matchpoint, Scoop, and much more, I can't think of all of them at the moment...

Television:

I don't really watch TV but I like The Office. :)

Books:

Too many to even list. I like Kafka a lot, he amazes me and Jill Bell is also pretty amazing. I have a varied taste though, it all depends on my mood.

Heroes:

My parents, I have no idea how they have been married for so long. It amazes me they have incredible strength and support for both eachother and their family. My sister for knowing me way to well and being one of the strongest women I know. Anyone who is comfortable in their own skin.
