My name is Amanda, but my friends call me Colella. I'm originally from Staten Island, NY but raised in Jupiter, FL. I am recently graduated from UCF with a degree in Psychology. I am also an alum of Kappa Alpha Theta and going to attend graduate school at UCF for a Masters in Social Work. I want to move out of Orlando eventually and back to a town like Jupiter; small, cute, and where mean girls roam. It sounds a bit pretentious, but I survived it and came out to be who I am because of it. As for everything else...I have a wonderful family, an absolutely amazing boyfriend, and truly wonderful friends who stick by me through anything and I couldn't ask for anything more! I have a new love in my life as well, he goes by the name of Slim Shady!! No not EMINEM silly.....he's my little puppy and I love him dearly! I love to laugh and watch corny shows like What I Like About You, Next, Design Shows and anything on the Food Network all day. I am obsessed with my phone and the person I call the most is my mom because she is my best friend through and through, she knows me in and out and can always shed some light. I am one of the few people I know who hates ketchup and regular coke/pepsi; I only eat mustard and diet coke/pepsi. My favorite drinks are Malibu Bay Breeze’s (thank you Alicia) and Diet Coke. I feel my body has become solely depended on my diet coke caffeine addiction. I love to take pictures. I love to dance and I don’t care where I am when doing it, it can be a club or just standing around at school. I have a bad habit of not introducing people, but most of the time it’s because I forget names or just think the meeting will be short lived. I totally believe in Karma and the whole idea of what goes around comes around (thank you JT). I wish I could speak Italian, or any other language. I hate when I think of such an original ring tone and then the person next to me has their phone blowing up the MY song! I cannot hear anything for the life of me; I am constantly asking someone to repeat themselves, making up what I think they said, or just nodding my head hoping they think I heard them. I have a huge fear of drowning stemmed from when I was little and my brother and I almost drowned in a friend’s pool. I wish I could tan but became blessed with the milky white Irish skin that my mom’s family possesses. I would choose to see a funny move over a girlie one, there is nothing better than a little Will Ferrell or Vince Vaughn. I have more awkward moments (in one day) than most people have in their whole lives. I don’t like when I see people I haven’t in a long time and am objected to that fake how is life conversation, we both don’t care but nobody is impolite enough to admit it. I like to read my horoscope, and I know I scream Cancer. I like to buy accessories on every mall outing, preferably some costume like item from Forever XXI. I don't mind when people give me nicknames, but I strongly dislike when people call me Mandy or Manda Panda (no offense little!). My sarcasm tends to come of as bitchy or rude. I think humor is a quality most people think they have, but don't. I usually listen to the same CD in my car for weeks until I can't listen to it anymore and then get irritated when a song from it is a radio hit and plays for 9 months straight. I’m a tell it like it is/I see it kind girl, which most like to replace with the word Bitch. I used to play soccer, but then I broke my wrist and thought it just wasn’t the sport for me. I have had stitches 3 times, had surgery 3 times, been in 2 car accidents, been on 1 ambulance ride, broken 1 bone, and am still here to tell the tales. I like to make lists. I wish I had a legit talent, I’m getting tired of only being able to sing the alphabet backwards. I am very forgetful so please be patient with me. I hate to clean but also stress about organization. I am one of the most punctual people I know, I don’t know how to be anything but 5 minutes early and want to hyperventilate if I’m a minute late. I am the oldest of 4 kids which makes me a bit of a mother figure. I am naturally very maternal and I will have to live no further then a few hours drive from my mother for the rest of my life. I am nervous as hell to have a few months left of school, but I can't wait to graduate! I love these moments, friends, times, laughs, cries, hugs, kisses and will cherish and remember them FOREVER!
